In 1996, DJ Or-Beat founded Orbital Station in Moscow Russia. This company would throw events, run a radio show, produce music, promote new artists, and develop digital media projects. The musical focus would be hardcore techno, a style of extreme dance music with a massive following in Western Europe, particularly Holland and Italy. Within the first year, it was apparent that this music would catch on in Moscow. The Russian hardcore scene grew fast, and Orbital Station developed a strong following.

DJ Or-Beat's radio show on Stancia 106.8 (which had already been running for a year) was now attracting close to a million listeners from the Moscow area alone. Orbital Station parties were being held on a by-weekly basis, and each event was pulling anywhere from 1,500 - 4,500 gabbers.

Orbital Station is responsible for throwing massive events such as "Hardcore VS Jungle", "Masters of Extreme", "Kill Da Tamagochi", "100&200", "Fuck Makarena", "Hardcore Heaven", "St. Valentine's Rave", "InStanzia", and many more.

The success did not come out of nowhere. A combination of professional marketing, high production standards, excellent venues, and top international talent contributed to the great popularity of Orbital Station events. Corporate sponsors such as OXY, PEPSI, Reebok, VideoService, Cross Jeans, Vans and Burton Snowboards saw a lucrative marketing opportunity and were excited about working with Orbital Station.

Among many international headliners we booked for our events were world famous artists such as Buzz Fuzz, Ruffneck, Da Predator, Bass D & King Matthew, Chosen Few, MC Rage, Tellurian, Digital Boy, Placid K, Slipmatt, Aphrodite, DJ Isaac and others. Many of them claim that our events were the best they ever played at. Some of them even made songs inspired by their experiences at our parties (DJ Ruffneck and MC Rage).

In the year 2000, Orbital Station relocated to Toronto Canada. At that time, a Canadian company by the name of THR was the largest hardcore event organizer in the country. In fact, THR booked DJ Or-Beat twice on two separate occasions for Communism and Gatekeeper II, THR's largest events. After his relocation, Or-Beat and the owner of THR, a hardcore DJ by the name of Lord Tekken, decided to work together. Orbital Station merged with THR on September 29, 2000.
